The EfficienCE Toolkit is an online repository housing tools and resources that enable planning of energy-efficient public transport infrastructure and was developed as a key deliverable of EfficienCE, an Interreg Central Europe project. All tools and resources used were selected with care by a round of experts within the EfficienCE project consortium.
How to use
The most effective use of the toolkit involves using the search bar that helps finding content based on title, author, a set of keywords, and each item’s brief description. Apart from filtering results for different topic areas, application areas, target groups and tool-types (all indicated below), the search can be optimized by defining a range of publication years to be displayed.
The toolkit encompasses several topic areas:
Clean fleets & emission reduction
Intelligent transport systems
Infrastructural prerequisites
Urban logistics
Collective passenger transport
Policy guidelines
Application areas covered by the toolkit:
Analysis of scenarios and measure selection
Appraisal and assessment
Data gathering
Dissemination and communication
Evaluation and monitoring
Exploitation and business plans
Financing, procurement, and legal aspects of measure implementation
